About Kurt Diener...Kurt was born in Sudbury and grew up in the Toronto area. He now lives with his wife Carol and their two dogs Lucy and Daisy on their beautiful 10-acre property overlooking Hockley Valley in Loretto, Ontario.
From a young age, Kurt had an entrepreneurial streak. He started a landscaping business at 16 and bought a Sooters photo franchise in his 20’s. He even studied to be a real estate agent, but on a lark with some friends, applied and was accepted to join the Toronto Police Service. Kurt served the Toronto community for just over 30 years. After retiring from the force at the young age of 50, he was finally able to launch an encore career in real estate. He coerced his wife (a professional marketing consultant) and his two sons to join him and, together, they formed The Diener Team.
Over the years, Kurt bought, held, and sold numerous real estate investments. He has renovated and flipped multiple properties and purchased pre-construction homes and condos. He knows firsthand how it feels to take financial risks and invest his hard-earned dollars in real estate—never having that magical crystal ball. As a result, he treats his client’s dollars like they are his own and works tirelessly to make sure every transaction is a smart investment for his clients.
Kurt has been an award-winning Realtor for the past six years in a row achieving the prestigious RE/MAX Hall of Fame and Platinum Club Awards for excellence in sales performance.
When he’s not out running around in his Diener Team truck, you’ll find Kurt in his vegetable garden in the summer—or playing hockey with the police league in the winter.
